Devon Fields

Accident Reconstructionist, CAD Specialist

Devon Fields graduated from Habersham Central High School in 2007 and completed two years at Truett McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia.

In 2011, Mr. Fields was employed by the Georgia State Patrol and attended the 89th Trooper School in Forsyth, Georgia. After successfully completing the training, Mr. Fields was assigned to Post #6 in Gainesville, Georgia.

While employed with the Georgia State Patrol, Mr. Fields successfully completed all of the accident reconstruction curriculum and became certified by the State of Georgia as an Accident Reconstruction Specialist. Mr. Fields received additional accident reconstruction training including motorcycles, grade/rail crossings, EDR’s, and commercial motor vehicles. Prior to his departure, Mr. Fields became an adjunct instructor for the Georgia State Patrol and began teaching accident reconstruction components to the field troopers.

In 2015, Mr. Fields joined Collision Specialists, Inc. as a field technician. Mr. Fields was tasked with the collection of collision data, which included the inspection of collision scenes and collision vehicles. These vehicle inspections involved the examination of components, as well as the collection of electronic data found in many automotive and commercial applications. Mr. Fields is also a licensed UAS pilot and maintains a valid Georgia Motorcycle License.

In 2021, Mr. Fields joined the analysis unit of CSI and utilizes his vast skill set in the determination of causation regarding collisions using programs including FARO 3D Scene and FARO Reality. Mr. Fields has been recognized as an expert by courts as an expert in the field of accident reconstruction.
